Interior Inspections
- Verify that all windows, door walls and attic hatches are locked and secure
- Alarm System checks, include Burglar, Smoke and Carbon Monoxide alarms include battery replacement
- Verify that A/C temps and humidity are operating correctly, replace furnace filters as needed
- Visual check for water intrusion, mold, and insect invasion
- Utility inspections/flowing & flushing water, verifying electrical circuits breakers are ‘on’ and not tripped & light fixtures, lamps are working
- Verify appliances are functioning properly, opening refrigerators and freezers, checking for odors and leaks.
- Inspections also include checking under sinks, garbage disposals, around toilets, behind washer and dryers, around water heaters and water softeners for leaks
- Confirm that refrigerator(s) and freezer(s) are operating and maintaining temperature
- Observe exposed plumbing and fixtures making sure no signs of leakage
- Check electrical panel inspection for tripped breakers
Exterior Inspections
- Verify condition of lawn and landscaping to ensure routine maintenance has been performed by lawn service
- Exterior check of grounds, property, pests, lawn, and sprinklers
- Remove debris, newspapers, flyers and check mailbox
- Visual check of all outdoor light fixtures
- Inspect doors, windows, and screens for signs of break-ins, vandalism or damage
- Visual exterior check roof (from ground), AC units and fencing
- Check lanai and screening for tears, rips, or worn seals
- Collect mail, flyers, packages, or garbage
- Inspect exterior for snake, rodent, or pest infestations
- Check main water valve is set to off position after each inspection
- Lock door and activate alarm system
- Submit Report and Photos to Client Portal in Home Watch IT
